Students applying to Health Science Limited Enrollment Programs are required to take the Psychological Services Bureau – Health Occupations Aptitude Examination (PSB-HOAE). Please review the full list of our Limited Enrollment Programs.
This exam assesses the basic academic knowledge needed to be successful in the healthcare field. Students should complete all program prerequisite courses and be eligible to apply for Limited Enrollment programs before taking the PSB-HOAE exam.

Since you indicated that you received a grade below a C on one of your core courses, or below a B- on one of your program requisites, you are not eligible to apply for a limited enrollment program at this time.

There is no minimum score required for the PSB-Health Occupations Aptitude Exam but a raw score of 260 out of 305 points or 85% is required to earn the maximum points possible for this area of the selection criteria.
Students who score below 85% on the PSB-Health Occupations Aptitude Exam will be eligible for ranking.
The PSB-Health Occupations Aptitude Examination is 30% of the ranking score.
The last date to take the PSB exam will vary with each application cycle. Students who complete a Limited Enrollment application should refer to the Baker College Limited Enrollment Program Process Overview website for updated information on PSB testing deadlines.
The PSB-Health Occupations Aptitude examination is a required component of the admission process for all Pre-licensure nursing candidates. At this time the PSB will not be utilized for ranking for nursing program applicants. Please contact your Academic Advisor for further information.
Students may test twice per application cycle but must wait 30 days between exams; It's important to take the exam early in the application process if you want the opportunity to attempt the test for a second time. Talk to your academic advisor or Program Director before retesting to see if it is right for you.
