Throughout the portal, individual users' names -- including
your name -- typically are accompanied by a blue My Info icon 
.
Other users can click this icon to display a "My Info pop-up"
that shows a little more information about you. The specific details shown
in the pop-up come from your My Info portlet. Specifically, the following
details from the portlet will display in your My Info pop-up for other
users to see:
· Your name (for more details on this, see Modifying your display name).
· Any details that you have added on the Custom Info tab.
· Any details that you have added on the Office Hours tab.
· Depending on your preference, your profile photo and/or your e-mail address. However, you can hide these, as described below.

The My Info pop-up can be launched from various parts of the portal. For example, if you post an attributed item in a Forums portlet instance, your name and the blue My Info icon will display with the item. Similarly, if you are enrolled in a class, your name and My Info pop-up will be available in the Coursemates portlet, and if you are a member of a Campus Group, your name will show in a group directory portlet. There are other examples as well.
Your name and My Info pop-up may also be available from the Campus Directory, although can hide yourself from the directory, as follows:
