Dr. Clark is responsible for the strategic direction and vision for the Human Resources department. In addition, Dr. Clark oversees compliance, Company policies, and regulations for Human Resources and manages employer and employee relations. Dr. Clark earned a Doctorate of Philosophy degree in Higher Education Leadership, Master of Arts in Teaching, and a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management. Dr. Clark started her career with Baker College in November 2002, and she brings over 25 years of experience in various academic roles, to the System Human Resources Department.

Deanna is responsible for the design, implementation and ongoing evaluation of the organization's compensation and benefits programs, including base pay, health and welfare benefits, and retirement benefits. She is also responsible for directing and planning the day-to-day operations of group benefits programs (group health, dental, vision, life insurance, long-term care, flexible spending, and retirement plans). Deanna provides employees with information on all aspects of their benefits, system policies, and procedures. Deanna serves as the privacy official to ensure that Baker College remains compliant with federal laws regarding HIPPA, as well as being the initial contact in the leave of absence process for Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and workers’ compensation programs. Deanna earned a Master of Business Administration degree in Human Resource Management from Baker College. Deanna started her career with Baker College in August of 2002 and transitioned to the HR department in January of 2012. Deanna is a Notary Public for the System Human Resources Department.

Tracey is responsible for managing the overall operations of the Human Resources Department. She oversees job requisitions, onboarding, HR and payroll compliance, project management, semi-monthly payroll processing, multi-state payrolls, and HR policies. Tracey is responsible for creating, managing and streamlining the human resources and payroll processes. This includes project implementation management, department innovation, and improving efficiencies. Tracey is the System Administrator for ADP, Equifax, eTIME, PTO, StandOut, and APL where she also reviews and manages credentials and qualifications for all Baker College staff and faculty. Tracey earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Baker College in 2020 and is currently working on her Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management through Baker College Center for Graduate Studies. Tracey started her career with Baker College in December of 2007 and brings over 25 years of payroll, human resources, and customer service experience to the Human Resources Department.

Kathy is responsible for processing semi-monthly payrolls for most campuses. Kathy is also responsible for job advertising website management, SafeColleges Administrator as well as providing Compliance Training for students and staff, Glassdoor Administrator, employee payroll changes, payroll inquiries, IRS or other revenue agency lock-in letters, as well as census, quarterly, and yearly reports. Kathy earned an Associate of Business Administration degree from Baker College. Kathy started her career with Baker College in March of 1992, and brings over 25 years of payroll, human resource, and customer service experience to the Human Resources Department. Kathy is also a Notary Public for the System Human Resources Department.

Bethany is responsible for coordinating the job posting processes which includes applicant tracking, job advertising, and working closely with the campuses to ensure the job postings are both accurate and compliant. Bethany is responsible for the onboarding of all applicants including staff, adjunct faculty, workstudy, and Running Start. Bethany also processes semi-monthly payroll for the Running Start Program, garnishments and unemployment through our ADP payroll system. Bethany earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Baker College. Bethany started her career with Baker College in August of 2016, and brings over 10 years of accounting, business, and customer service experience to the Human Resources Department.

Tammy is responsible for assisting the Human Resources Department on a daily basis. Tammy is also responsible for, but not limited to, maintaining employee files, reconciling payroll, filing, scanning, faxing, and data entry, as well as daily administrative duties. Tammy also assists with new employee orientation and pension. Tammy earned an Associate of Business Administration degree in Human Resource Management from Baker College. She is currently working on her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Human Resource Management. Tammy started her career with Baker College in November of 2016.
