Winter 2017 Registration Begins November 7, 2016

Registration for winter quarter 2017 will begin on Monday, November 7, at 12:00 a.m. for all graduate students and for undergraduate students with at least 30 earned credits. Undergraduate students with 13 earned credits or more will be able to register beginning at 12:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 8. Registration will be open to all students beginning at 12:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 9. Registration assistance will be available on campus or by contacting your Academic Advisor.

Begin by accessing the Step Plan by logging into the SOLAR System and navigating to the STAR System > Academic Office > Step Plan / Rotation tool.  Use the Step Plan and/or Rotation to determine which courses you should take.  You will then use the Registration button within my.baker.edu to search for and select the days and times of those courses for which you wish to register.

To access training materials and the Registration module, log in to my.baker.edu, click on the My Services tab, the My Academic Info tab on the left, then the My Course Information link.  The How to Register button and the Registration button will be on the left side of the screen.  We strongly encourage you to view the training materials located under the How to Register button prior to accessing Registration.  Once in Registration, several course search parameters are available.  It is recommended that you only choose the campus you are interested in and enter the course discipline code within the Course Code search box without the course number.  For example, choose the Flint (FL) campus and enter ENG instead of ENG 101.  If you prefer to enter the entire course code, be aware that the course number always begins in the sixth character of the field so ENG 101 is entered as E-N-G-space-space-1-0-1. Note that all Online courses are accessed by selecting the Online Campus.  The campus codes are as follows:

Campus Code and Campus

AH = Auburn Hills

AP = Allen Park

CA = Cadillac

CG = Center for Graduate Studies

CT = Clinton Township

CY = Cass City

FL = Flint

JK = Jackson

MU = Muskegon

OL = Online

OW = Owosso

PH = Port Huron

For additional assistance with registration, please contact your Academic Advisor or the Academic Resource Center on your campus.
