What can Baker College Tutoring Services do for you?
Our Baker College Tutoring Services provides you with consultants who can tutor in various disciplines and for a plethora of courses in various modes.
Consultants can help you: understand an assignment, work through a math problem, with any stage of the writing process, understand concepts, theories and applications, and much more!
Consultants will not: do your homework, take a test or quiz for you, or write/edit your paper.
Whether you want help with managing your time, understanding the material, becoming a better writer, or becoming a better student, Tutoring Services will help get you on the path to academic and professional success!
FAQs and Important Information
How do I log in?
Your WCOnline account information is not linked to your MyBaker account. To get started, register for an account. If you have password trouble, e-mail us at [email protected]
Where do I meet the consultant/tutor?
That depends on the type of appointment you have chosen.
- If you schedule an asynchronous appointment, feedback will be provided to you within 24-hours of uploading your document. Asynchronous appointments do not involve a phone call or live communication. To locate your feedback, click on the day/time of your appointment and look at the bottom of the appointment form; a link will be visible for you.
- If you scheduled a synchronous appointment, you will meet with the consultant/tutor virtually during the time that you scheduled the appointment. All synchronous sessions are held through WCOnline. To join the session at your allotted time, click on the consultant’s Zoom link, located in the consultant’s bio on the Appointment Form.
Graduate Students and Faculty Members
If you are a graduate student or a faculty member, you can also find consultants and professional tutors to assist you with your courses, thesis or dissertation writing, and scholarship. For writing-specific help, once you log into https://baker.mywconline.com, choose “General writing assistance” in the drop-down menu.
