Software for Students and Faculty Members

Students currently registered for classes, or faculty members currently teaching classes, are eligible for access to certain Microsoft, MSDNAA, and VMware software programs. 

 

Microsoft Azure

Microsoft Azure, formerly known as Windows Azure, is Microsoft's public cloud computing platform. It provides a range of cloud services, including compute, analytics, storage and networking.

MSDN Academic Alliance

The MSDN Academic Alliance is an agreement between the Computer Science Department and Microsoft to allow students who are enrolled in either the undergraduate or graduate programs and are currently taking classes to have copies of specific software for home/personal use.   (MyBaker login required.)

VMware

Virtual machine software from VMware, allows multiple copies of the same operating system or several different operating systems to run in the same machine. VMware Fusion runs Windows, Linux and other guest operating systems on the Mac.  (MyBaker login required.)
