Any nurse will tell you it can be a tough and demanding job, but they will also tell you it’s one of the most rewarding careers you can choose. This is because on a daily basis you’re helping people who need it the most. As a nurse, you’ll be both a caregiver and a problem solver, someone who helps heal people in mind, body and spirit. Compassion is critical, but you’ll also need a strong aptitude for science and critical thinking to properly treat patients.

The Baker College School of Nursing (SON) offers three tracks towards the BSN degree. One track is designed for first-time college students seeking a career as a professional nurse (traditional track). The second track is for students who hold a bachelor’s degree but now wish to seek a degree in nursing (accelerated track). The third track is for the experienced nurse seeking to obtain their baccalaureate degree (RN to BSN track).
