The BC Student Life Leadership Council (SLLC) is an opportunity for students to develop their personal and professional leadership through campus and community involvement. How do I apply to be a member of the SLLC?
You can apply by completing the online application. Your submission should include a 300-word essay describing why you are a good candidate for the Student Life Leadership Council. Applications for the 2020-21 academic year should be submitted no later than July 30, 2021.
How long can I serve on the SLLC?
Up to four consecutive years provided you continue to meet all eligibility requirements.
Can I serve as an SLLC member and as a Resident Assistant (RA) or Student Ambassador?
Eligible students may only hold one position. However, because of similarities in responsibilities, all Resident Assistants will also be a member of the Student Life Leadership Council on their campus.
