How will I receive a mentor?

A mentor and mentee are paired on many different levels. They may have the same major, the same lifepath, or have similar personalities. We do our best to ensure every mentor and mentee pairing is a great fit.

How long is the mentorship program?

The mentorship program lasts one academic year. Students may choose to renew their membership at the end of each academic year. Mentorship pairings are paused during the winter break.

How often will my mentor and I communicate?

Mentees can expect their mentor to connect with them several times a week. Mentors will send a weekly email to go over topics of discussion, promote Baker College events, and to provide resources that a mentee may need. Every week, mentors and mentees will video call for 30-60 minutes to go over goals, challenges, expectations, or other topics.
